A promising family literacy project based on male reading models

This article discusses an innovative family literacy project that was implemented in a community setting. Male trios consisting of male relative, struggling reader elementary school and pre-service teacher were created. The goal 1) to develop student’s motivation read by using reading role models allowing the student what he truly enjoys non-school environment 2) document practices as trios. To progression four trios, we used semi-directed interview, focus group logbook. results this multiple-case research study showed improvement regarding context different inside positive evolution relationship between participating relative has been observed.
